Chamada para submissão de artigos e partituras para a publicação comemorativa "Instituto Villa-Lobos: sua história, seus personagens, seu legado"
O Instituto Villa-Lobos está completando 50 anos!
E, para guardar para a posteridade tal data, estamos chamando trabalhos, científicos ou não, para publicação no livro eletrônico "Instituto Villa-Lobos: sua história, seus personagens, seu legado" a ser lançado em data comemorativa do aniversário do nosso Instituto. Essa publicação também incluirá uma seção de partituras, veja informações para submissão abaixo.
O lançamento desta publicação visa promover o diálogo e a reflexão sobre diversos aspectos relacionados ao Instituto Villa-Lobos: a história do Instituto, incluindo sua origem no Conservatório Nacional do Canto Orfeônico, a história de seus professores, de seus funcionários, de seus estudantes (do passado e atuais), a visão de tais personagens sobre o Instituto, a história de/sobre Villa-Lobos e sua obra artística ou pedagógica, a análise da obra artística ou pedagógica de Villa-Lobos, ou dos professores, egressos ou associados ao Instituto Villa-Lobos e/ou ao CNCO... tantas são as possibilidades quanto é a grandeza desse que é um dos importantes centros de formação de músicos e professores de música do Brasil.
Os trabalhos não precisam ser originais, ou seja, o Comitê Científico aceitará republicações.
Cronograma:
08/04/2017 a 30/06/2017- Submissão do trabalho em arquivo formato word por meio deste formulário eletrônico;
15/07/2017 - Prazo final de devolução dos trabalhos para revisão.
18 a 24/09/2017 - Semana Comemorativa e Publicação do Livro
Normas para submissão de artigos:
1. Extensão máxima do resumo: 250 palavras;
2. Extensão do texto integral: de 3000 a 6000 palavras;
3. Estrutura base do texto integral: Título, nome, contato (e-mail), afiliação institucional do(s) autor(es), resumo (até 250 palavras), texto integral.
4. As eventuais notas de rodapé e bibliografia devem ser apresentadas conforme as normas da ABNT.
CHAMADA DE PARTITURAS – Instituto Villa-Lobos 50 anos
Com o intuito de celebrar os 50 anos de Atividades do Instituto Villa-Lobos da UNIRIO, está aberta a chamada de partituras “IVL – 50 Anos” que fará parte da publicação eletrônica "Instituto Villa-Lobos: sua história, seus personagens, seu legado". Qualquer pessoa sem qualquer limite de idade ou nacionalidade poderá participar e submeter uma obra de uma página.
Instruções:
1. As obras deverão ter somente uma página de música para qualquer formação instrumental e/ou vocal. A duração não deve ultrapassar 3 minutos;
2. As obras devem ter caráter celebratório mas podem ser em qualquer estilo ou linguagem tonal ou não tonal e também possuir texto em qualquer idioma;
3. Deverão ser enviadas (partitura e partes instrumentais) em formato PDF juntamente com o arquivo midi e/ou mp3, por meio deste formulário eletrônico até o dia 30 de Junho de 2017;
4. As obras não precisam ser anônimas;
5. As obras devem vir acompanhadas por um breve comentário (nota de programa) e informações sobre o compositor, no máximo um parágrafo (3 linhas) para cada item.
As obras enviadas serão selecionadas por um painel formado por três compositores professores da UNIRIO. Os resultados serão divulgados página do IVL na internet no dia 30 de julho de 2017.
As obras serão ainda incluídas em uma publicação da UNIRIO com todas as obras selecionadas.
As obras selecionadas serão apresentadas em um concerto durante este ano (2017) em data ser definida. Os compositores selecionados serão contatados e deverão confirmar sua participação no evento.
Os compositores deverão se responsabilizar pela interpretação da peça, arregimentando os intérpretes, preparando material de performance (partituras e partes) organizando os ensaios.

Call for submission of articles and scores for the publication " Instituto Villa-Lobos: its history, its characters, its legacy"
Instituto Villa-Lobos is celebrating 50 years in 2017!
In order to mark this celebration, we are calling for academic or non-academic works to be published in the e-book "Villa-Lobos Institute: its history, its characters, its legacy" to be released on a commemorative anniversary date in September of 2017. This publication aims to promote a dialogue and reflection on various aspects related to the Instituto Villa-Lobos: its history, including the origin in the Conservatório Nacional do Canto Orfeônico, the history of its teachers, its employees, its students, the point of view of these caracters about the institute, the history of, or about, Villa-Lobos and his artistic and pedagogical work, the analysis of the artistic or pedagogical work of Villa-Lobos, or of the professors, who were either graduates or associates of the Institute Villa-Lobos and or CNCO ... there are so many possibilities, as is the greatness of this, which is one of the most important training centers for musicians and music teachers in Brazil.

May 8th to June 30th, 2017- Submission of the works by means of the electronic form here.
July 15th, 2017 - Final deadline for the return of the works for review.
September 18th to 24th, 2017 – Publication at the Commemorative Week.
Submission Guidelines:
1. Maximum abstract length: 250 words;
2. Length of full text: from 3000 to 6000 words;
3. Basic structure of the full text: Title, name, contact (e-mail), institutional affiliation of the author (s), abstract (up to 250 words), full text;
4. Any footnotes and bibliography must be presented in accordance with ABNT norms.
CALL FOR SCORES – Instituto Villa-Lobos 50 anos
With the purpose of celebrating the 50-year anniversary of Instituto Villa-Lobos of UNIRIO, the call for scores "IVL - 50 Anos" is open. The selected works will be part of the e-book "Villa-Lobos Institute: its history, its characters, its legacy". Anyone without any age limit or any nationality can participate and submit a work of a page length.
Instructions:
1. The works must have only one page of music for any instrumental and / or vocal formation. The duration should not exceed 3 minutes;
2. The works must have celebratory character but it can be in any style or language, tonal or non tonal and have text in any idiom too;
3. They should be sent (sheet music and instrumental parts) in PDF format along with the midi file and / or mp3 file by means of the electronic form here until June 30th, 2017;
4. Works do not have to be anonymous;
5. The works must be accompanied by a short commentary (program note) and information about the composer, at most one paragraph (3 lines) for each item;
The works submitted will be selected by a panel composed of three UNIRIO faculty members. The results will be announced on the IVL website on June 30th, 2017.
The selected works will be presented at a concert during the year of 2017 on a date to be defined. The selected composers will be contacted and must confirm their participation in the event.
The composers should be responsible for the interpretation of the piece, arranging the performers, preparing performance material (scores and parts), and organizing the rehearsals.
