EM BUSCA DE UMA ESCOLA VIVA: UMA EXPERIÊNCIA COM O ENSINO DO TEATRO NO CAMPUS MACAÉ DO INSTITUTO FEDERAL FLUMINENSE

A dissertação investiga uma experiência com ensino de teatro em uma escola profissionalizante: o campus Macaé do Instituto Federal Fluminense. A primeira parte do texto dedica-se ao esclarecimento das bases teóricas do estudo, cujo centro é o conceito de 'experiência' do educador espanhol Jorge Larrosa. A segunda parte da dissertação traz um breve histórico da educação profissional no Brasil e do campus Macaé. Por fim, o estudo traz o relato e a análise da experiência com o ensino de teatro dentro do Instituto; ensino este que acontece basicamente em três esferas distintas: dentro da sala de aula, no grupo de teatro Manicômio e no projeto Quarta Cultural. Trata-se de uma busca por tempo e espaço para o acontecimento da 'experiência', que possa resultar em uma aprendizagem significativa para os alunos e tornar a escola mais viva.

This dissertation investigates the theater education experience at a vocational school: the Macae campus of the Federal Fluminense Institute. The first part of the text is dedicated to explaining the theoretical foundations of the study, which core is the Spanish educator Jorge Larrosa's concept of 'experience'. The second part of the dissertation presents a brief history of vocational education in Brazil and in the Macaé campus. Finally, the study provides a report and analysis of the theater education experience within the Institute; an education which takes place basically in three distinct spheres: within the classroom, in the Manicômio (Asylum) theater group and in the Cultural Wednesday project. It is a quest for time and space for the event of the 'experience', which may result in significant learning for the students and turn the school into a more lively place.
