The intended profile for the PPGENF/UNIRIO postgraduates seek that this person should be able to:

 

1) Acting in educational, care, and research processes, with an emphasis on the innovative knowledge production, based on theoretical-methodological references;

2) Ability to choose and analyze the literature for the discussion of the findings in the knowledge production;

3) Respect the ethical principles that involve research in its legal, social and human dimensions when articulating the found and investigated phenomena.

4) Implement interventions and results evaluation in the actions in health education institutions and having active participation in health policies with an emphasis on nursing.

This implies that the master student formed by PPGENF at UNIRIO has scientific and/or professional skills to:

 

1) Prepare, utter, and carry out socio-political-cultural reality and professional practice critical-reflective analysis in scientific events or similar in the specific knowledge area, with technical-scientific arguments;

2) Participate in Research Groups, in a critical-reflective way, contributing to the innovative advancement through mastering the state of the art of their theme/área of expertise;

3) Advice in Scientific Initiation, Undergraduate and Postgraduate Latu sensu final papers in the health field, with an emphasis on nursing, with inter and/or transdisciplinary articulation;

4) Develop and contribute to the knowledge production (papers for scientific and social journals, book chapters, and books) and health knowledge dissemination, with a focus on nursing, at a regional and national level, with a focus on international aspects, towards inter and/or transdisciplinary practice;

5) Debate with the ability to dialogue and sustain discussion, in the master's degree qualification, in facing the scientific community collaborators, demonstrate perspectives of influencing the partnerships or networks construction for knowledge and technology production, having the effect of influencing adoption of new knowledge and actions for the practice and teaching of nursing care field, including inter and/or transdisciplinary and;

6) Design the career project construction, articulating academic aspects, in professional life in nursing, politics, and the scientific field, considering professional experience, personal needs, leadership potential, and insertion in the labor market.
