RULES FOR USE OF CREDITS

I - In order to take advantage of credits, the student must send a request to the PPGAN secretariat, attaching an official document containing the syllabus and/or syllabus of the subjects, workload and grade (grade) obtained.

II - The use of credit will be automatic when:

a)      for a Ph.D. course, the subject is from the PPGAN or from a postgraduate program in the area of Food Science and in accordance with the provisions of the PPGAN regulation (article 19)

 b)    for the master's course, the subject is from a postgraduate program in the area of Food Science and in accordance with the provisions of the PPGAN regulation (article 19)

III - The PPGAN committee will evaluate the use of credit for subjects from the postgraduate program in other areas of knowledge, which are accredited by CAPES and with a concept equal to or higher than that of the PPGAN at the time of submitting the documents;

IV - The maximum credit utilization limit will follow the established in article 19 of the PPGAN regulation;

 V - It will not be allowed to use credit from the teaching internship subjects for the master's course. For the doctoral course, the use of credit in teaching internship will be computed only as credit in subjects, not counting as credits in teaching internship.

 VI - It will be forbidden for the doctoral student, titled as a master by the PPGAN, to enroll in a subject that appears as approved in his academic record of the master's course.

VII - Disciplines related to the qualification of the dissertation will not be accepted for the use of credits
