RULES FOR THE TEACHING INTERNSHIP SUBJECT

        Rules approved by the committee of the Postgraduate Program in Food and Nutrition, PPGAN, in a committee meeting held on October 21, 2015.

I - The teaching internship subjects, in accordance with article 17, title III of the PPGAN regulation, is mandatory for all PhD students in 3 (three) academic semesters;

II - Only 1 (one) application for teaching internship per academic semester will be accepted;

III - The student enrolled in this course must choose a supervisor, with the agreement of his supervisor, who will be responsible for the evaluation and monitoring of the student;

IV - Only teachers participating in the PPGAN, or at the discretion of the committee, can be considered as supervisors;

V - The subject in which the student will be intern must be specific to the Food Science area, or at the discretion of the committee;

VI - It is the supervisor's responsibility to establish the student's work schedule;

VII - The student cannot be in charge of the total responsibility for the course load and must be fully supervised, not being able to answer for the evaluation of the enrolled students;

VIII - Exemption from this subject will be allowed when the student has been or is a substitute or effective teacher in any higher education institution;
