Rules for PPGAN Masters and Ph.D. Scholars
Rules approved by the committee of the Postgraduate Program in Food and Nutrition, PPGAN at a committee meeting held on May 14, 2019.
Scholarship recipients, of any modality or funding body, whose scholarships are linked to the PPGAN, have the following obligations with the Postgraduate Program in Food and Nutrition:
I - Full dedication to the activities of the graduate program;
II – Not to fail in any subjects;
III - Master's students must complete 1 academic semester of teaching internship and doctoral students must complete 3 academic semesters of teaching internship;
IV – If the scholarship holder is entitled to the release of the mandatory credits of the teaching internship subjects, the obligation to comply with at least 1 academic semester of teaching internship will be maintained as an optional subjects, for master's students and 2 academic semesters for the student doctorate;
V – Submit annually, according to the deadlines established by the scholarship committee, a report of the activities developed, which must be signed by the scholarship holder and the advisor;
VI – for doctoral students, after 3 years of scholarship, the activity report must present a letter of acceptance or an article published in a journal of strata A1, A2 or B1 in the area of Food Science. Otherwise, the scholarship will be made available for redistribution by the scholarship committee.
Clause VI will apply only to doctoral students who receive scholarship from the date of publication of this rule.
