Curricular Structure
The PPGB/UNIRIO Professional Master's Course in Librarianship lasts 24 months and must be completed with a minimum of 34 credits completed with approval, totaling 660 (six hundred and sixty) hours, in activity distributed as follows:
I. Compulsory subjects: 120 hours / 8 credits (theoretical);
II. Optional subjects: 180 hours / 12 credits (theoretical);
III. Orientation: 300 hours / 12 credits (4 theoretical and 8 practical);
IV. Qualifying Exam: 30 hours / 1 credit (practical);
V. Defense: 30 hours / 1 credit (practical).
In addition to the mandatory curricular components mentioned in items I to V above, the course's curricular structure also admits 4 (four) other types of complementary academic credits, according to art. 67 of the Program regulation.
