PROEMUS

The Professional Master's Program in Teaching Musical Practices - PROEMUS was created with the intention of identifying gaps in the area of ​​music teaching in Brazil to propose solutions that can improve activities in the area of ​​teaching activities linked to musical practices in their broadest aspect, without defining styles, genres or levels of performance. The research projects developed in this program have varied formats and aim to develop a product or artifact that can be directly applied to these teaching activities, ranging from critical editing of works, recordings, methods, videos, online teaching, among others. PROEMUS was approved for operation on 11/08/2013, according to Official Letter 77/2013/PROPG-UNIRIO and teaching activities began in April 2014.
