Resumo:
O e-book “O saxofone orquestral brasileiro” é o primeiro livro de excertos orquestrais para o instrumento voltado exclusivamente a música brasileira, trazendo contribuição ao ensino do saxofone orquestral, a didática do instrumento, bem como uma discussão sobre aspectos técnicos e interpretativos das obras trabalhadas. Assim, são destacados os trechos orquestrais brasileiros relevantes que integram o repertório central do saxofonista que busca trabalhar naquele meio. Além disso, pode ser usado como uma ferramenta pedagógica para preparar os saxofonista e identificar passagens orquestrais de difícil execução que devem ser abordadas especificamente durante o estudo. O e-book conta com diversos recursos tecnológicos, como o código QR para conectar telefones celulares com um canal do YouTube com vídeos. Além disso, são incluídos links com informações complementares a respeito dos compositores.

Abstract:
The e-book "The Brazilian orchestral saxophone" is the first volume of orchestral excerpts for the instrument focusing exclusively on Brazilian music, contributing to the teaching of the orchestral saxophone, the instrumental performance and discussing the technical and interpretative aspects of these works. Thus, the relevant Brazilian orchestral pieces that integrate the central repertoire of the saxophonist who seeks to work in that medium are highlighted. In addition, it can be used as a pedagogical tool to prepare the saxophonists to identify difficult orchestral passages that must be especifically studied during practice. The e-book has several technological features, such as the QR code to connect mobile phones with a YouTube channel with videos. In addition, links to additional information regarding composers are included.
