Myosin V at the end of millennium - Perspectives and future approaches
II IberoAmerican Forum on the Cytoskeleton

It is our great pleasure to extend you an invitation to participate in the I International Symposium on Myosin V and II IberoAmerican Forum on Cytoskeleton, which will be held in Rio de Janeiro, opening night on May 22nd, and in Paraty, May 23rd-26th. Paraty, on the Rio de Janeiro coast is an UNESCO’s "patrimony of humanity" and will provide us a relaxed atmosphere to talk about cytoskeleton, cell motility, and the roles of class V myosins. One full day will be dedicated to a social and schooner ride along the coast. We are planning talks by investigators who have made important contributions to the understanding of the molecular basis of cell motility with focus on myosin-V. We also will have a poster section where recent results on cellular and molecular aspects of cytoskeletal dynamics can be presented and discussed.
